Roofing & Insulation Supply (RIS) was founded by a group of roofing and insulation industry veterans in 2000. Starting with 7 locations, RIS has now grown to 20 locations spanning 13 states. By developing a strong allegiance with our key suppliers, Owens Corning and CertainTeed, we have been able to succeed by selling the brand recognition of both product lines along with our dedication to servicing our customers in each market. By gaining share with existing customers and converting new accounts, we have continued to successfully grow our business each year.
Each day our branches receive material from our vendors and ship it to our customers’ warehouses, job sites, or building center locations. Our branches are responsible for sales, logistics of material delivery, billing, payables, credit and inventory management.
To continue and accelerate the RIS growth plan, the company became a member of Foundation Building Materials (FBM). RIS founder Sprague Mullikin stated: “we are pleased to join forces with FBM, which has a strong platform to allow RIS to better serve our existing customers and reach new customers across the United States and Canada. Being part of the FBM team will allow RIS to continue our long history of excellent customer service and greatly add to FBM’s existing insulation business.
